Hello!

I just tried to build rpms from the sourcerpm of nmap
(nmap-6.40-1.src.rpm). This fails with the following error message:

configure: error: Your version of OpenSSL does not support SHA-256. Please install OpenSSL 0.9.8 or later.
configure: error: ./configure failed for nping
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.Y6t1UZ (%build)

Installing openssl-devel resolves the problem.

% cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS release 6.4 (Final)
% uname -srvmpio
Linux 2.6.32-358.23.2.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Oct 16 18:37:12 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Best regards
/Ulrik Haugen
