nmap and BGP support?

does nmap currently have any scripts or testing for BGP related services (port 179T)? i was curious because there is a devastatingly powerful router injection tool called LOKI , mainly for nix, that can support the protocol (but not windows). apparently, and this is why i am asking in regards with nmap, windows does not have support in the kernel for BGP? that is what the LOKI website says. what exactly does that mean? would that mean that nmap can not craft a bgp packet with a script? nping could not work either? i could have swore years ago, i ran nemesis on windows and it indeed had a template packet for BGP. so i'm just confused as to how a kernel does not support a protocol and does this completely limit this option as far as nmap is related? i would love to one day see BGP support (maybe a script to test for BGP-4 authentication or peer info/etc). almost all of your ISP border routers run it (and EIGRP) so it is definitely something worthy of looking at m|ke _______________________________________________ Sent through the dev mailing list http://nmap.org/mailman/listinfo/dev Archived at http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/
