question on lack of uninstaller

sorry, but i needed to get out one last question that is nagging me. i noticed the last NMAP i had came with the 
uninstaller EXE. the new one seems to have it omittted. no longer needed? bad download? i'm sure i can easily discard 
the swipe and recycle way if i had to. one more question on the uninstall. when NMAP does go through the uninstall 
processs, does it/can remove the registry changes that are made? i hate lingering strings and leftover hives
