Nikola,

We just released Nmap 7.01 with a new bundling system for OS X. Please try
the new .dmg installer at https://nmap.org/download.html#macosx and let us
know if it solves this issue for you.

Hi Dan,

I’ve checked it but it was all fine, must be something else.

Nikola,

Thanks for the bug report. Error -10810 is an "unknown error" so there
could be lots of things going on. Here's a quick checklist of things that
might be causing the problem:

1. The Zenmap executable may not be executable. sudo chmod +x
/Applications/Zenmap.app/Contents/MacOS/Zenmap
2. You may be running Zenmap as a user without permissions to access your
graphical environment. Make sure you launch Zenmap as the same user who is
logged in to the desktop.
3. You may have too many running processes:

Let us know if any of these solves your problem, or if the problem
persists.

Hi Guys

I get the following error message when trying to start Zenmap 7 on OS X
10.11.1 / XQuartz 2.7.8.

LSOpenURLsWithRole() failed for the application /Applications/Zenmap.app
with error -10810.

Could you please have a look.

Thanks & Regards,
Nikola
