Hi,is there a particular reason, why nping 7.00 prefixes output for received frames with RECV or RCVD respectively?"nping --icmp" says "RCVD", while "nping --tcp-connect" says "RECV". These texts are in nping/ProbeMode.cc.As I try to parse the output, it would be useful to have it consistent. My preference would be "RCVD" to match "SENT".Martin _______________________________________________ Sent through the dev mailing list https://nmap.org/mailman/listinfo/dev Archived at http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/
Hi Martin,Thanks for reporting this. There is no reason why the lines for received packets are inconsistent, so I've fixed that in r35515 so Nping always prints "RCVD", as you suggested.
Thanks a lot. Best regards, Luis MartinGarcia.
