Windows npcap/nmap binary install package - Uninstall issue

Using the install package below on two Windows 7 64 bit systems, npcap/nmap
does not then Uninstall cleanly.

Details:

 

System 1: Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1, 64 bit AMD processor

 

System 2: Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1, Intel i7 Processor

 

The installation option to automatically start npcap was selected.

 

Problem:

 

On both systems, the Uninstall leaves nmap active and it restarts after
reboot.

 

Using system restore to the previous checkpoint (time of install) does not
restore the system to the initial state, but leaves nmap active.

 

Using system restore to the checkpoint before does remove nmap.
