Hey devs, I'll directly jump to the work done this week. Accomplishments: 1) Drafted and sent the Request for Comments mail which explained the way we are going about things. Me and my mentors wanted to put it forward before we went ahead and implement it into nmap. 2) Worked on understanding and fitting opencv libs into nmap's build system. I got confused halfway through it and spent some time pursuing the wrong goal (was trying to add statically compiled binaries instead of building opencv with nmap). But I realized this with the help of my mentors later in the week. 3) I tried out more test cases (some with 20 prints and others with 40 test prints) and tried to summarize the results. 4) Apart from this I also spent some time trying to identify which opencv c++ functions will we need to implement the prediction engine in c++. Priorities this week: 1) Integrate opencv with nmap. that is, building nmap should also build opencv for the user (when I say building opencv, I mean just the bare minimum libraries that we need) 2) Start working on the implementing the prediction engine in nmap's source. Have a great week ahead! Cheers, Prabhjyot
