nmap question

Hello,
I am working on installing nmap in silent mode(our company is in the
process of buying the license) my question is I am going to run windows
self installer in the silent mode in powershell using $LASTEXITCODE I can
check if it is successful or not, but I was wondering if there are some log
messages that I can get from installer?
