Validating Windows XP - Aaargh

It sounds like Windows Genuine Advantage has picked up something amiss
with your install (blacklisted key, significant hardware change, etc.)
Agreed, the course of action would be to call the piracy line and see
what they think.

Did you recently reinstall? Did it work before and now acting
strange? The OS really does not know where you are so merely having a
us copy in the UK would not "break" the validation. I would call the
Microsoft piracy line at 1-800-RULEGIT

I have purchased an OEM copy of Windows XP Professional in US. Now
for
my job, I live in Europe. When I bring up the XP system, I get the
message that it is not a valid copy of XP. This problem did not exist
while in the US. The Microsoft site is keeps me in a loop where it
ends
up saying pay $$$.

Is there anyway out of this? I do have the OEM manual with the key
code
on it.

Thank you in advance for any help.
