If you're using an UNIX computer the command "netstat -anp" shows not only all connections but also all ports which are listened to and the associated task.
netstat -anp may not work. The -p option is not in general use. netstat 1.36 (1999-01-01) does not support this option. It is supported with netstat 1.39 (2000-05-21).
