Yes, there is a Mysql version number, and then a seperate protocol version. sample: www.blah.com mysql version is 3.22.32-log (protocol version 10) www.foo.com mysql version is 3.21.17 (protocol version 9) -- jonathan () leto net "With pain comes clarity."
