I just finished the 6-day GCIH class in Detroit. Great Class, Great Instructor. It does focus primarily on "hacking" as it relates to incident response. BUT, they key is there focus is on understanding how attacks work which leads to 5 of the 6 days focusing on hacking skills. Done the CEH material and GHIC. CEH really does focus on tool use, and the GHIC class supported the standard impression that SANS material is very hands on oriented. Here is the link to an Event doing the class. They have a different focuus. I do note that the editor association is a generic with all Certmag articles which I missed in the last post - being that this is not something I would generally read. So I appoligise for this error in my prior post. You can find it at http://www.certmag.com/articles/templates/CM_gen_Article_template.asp?articl eid=2652&zoneid=225 or in the March issue of Certification Magazine. Thanks again to everyone who provided helpful information. Unfortunately, they edited out the sentence giving credit to those to provided information. :( If anyone has any feedback (good or bad), please let me know for future articles.
