Is any one aware of the existence of ruby-gtk & ruby-libglade precompiled binaries for slackware available for dependencies of ruby-gnome stuff? I tried compiling from source tar balls, the compilation seems to be caught in a lot of dependency issue related to glib2.
For some reason, a lot of the GNOME libraries are missing the ".so" symlinks in Backtrack 2. The ".so.*" files are there, but the linker needs the .so files. If you are having trouble linking but ./configure works OK, you might want to figure out what libraries aren't linking properly and add the symlinks yourself. - -Josh -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iQIVAwUBRjsLUjWX3FIa1TkuAQKlmhAAo3faxKR2R0v1O4S+/tS/b5IClwNwmtEE Ybl/r0mSGnfjQrK/jLZ7lTJb+wwyavJ3sRwIZ2WVgcIxwbt2a4bURbXbAlvo6N9m rXr0uREYvKyu6oEjqMs20+5W1NLhO013FfXM+nUXchnwTVwdsLc9R8MP5WtCyZcf h6yt7vWwWZ7bx/XbNISBaxoyKjNgHsNIyczZ1qREoYnK9e1QPArGJ0le2/nPtNeP rShfyaiXHXGCV1su6m2SwOQhKLVHuG+2XI8wiNMKDPqCquvfjVXZgkTWHlO2yTg+ hkpt6CyNznbKPEkcDGDAdYEGb7eCpZIEfv4lShL/m7fS8SETR2JdAyN4t0/c84Hv 3mIxzsi75GwcVZIXpJzD8Y//ICx7d3zTX0lSMb9q1z3Pvrm/wVv+1NSLgClAweX4 fACQmdGMXSDv7iI1r431wBTBtUnfJufUq7GQd8W1ACKDVqWKmcwAXk4R4geOG+ZU MXUATurmh5B/hLi+CPHZuc5xEgTwf7VnheJzAVfL35IRSWOozYB5OaPhBUboB5Ko XWCJnVB34Nza9iuoKh/suCUOBS4oWl5OJpXYxvvJd2q/LUa3JmDjbvHYGFCEya/D yxbAbGEw5BRSToAEhPsQsINTqaBoZ+eA2Zd7zf32NldhUe3w9vxVBsknzJL0Ouj1 Ytoo52R4th8= =WHec -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This List Sponsored by: Cenzic Are you using SPI, Watchfire or WhiteHat?
