Yes, the card works well with BT2. I did a good bit of research on the various cards with external antenna hookups that were compatible with BT1 and settled on the Ubiquiti I mentioned earlier. Now with BT2 it continues to be a great card. There was a great Kismet/Wifi card compatibility guide I used as a main source of my research before the purchase, but that was well over a year ago. The dual chipset was another deciding factor.

I would like to do some testing with various wifi encryption methods and would like to narrow down the search for a few reliable cards.

I use a Ubiquiti SWX-SRC 300mW 802.11a/b/g MMCX here. No internal
antenna. Two external antenna ports.
