How did that happen? And what am I to do? These are the questions on my
head.  In the main time I have created another user for him and I am going
through the pain of transferring giving him privileges to what he should
have access to.
It happens on occassion. Usually, I find the profile is corrupted
locally, so deleteing the profile on the local computer is sufficient
(it will be recreated next time he/she logs in). Occassionally, I find
the profile is corrupt on the server, and one of two fixes work: (1)
restore the profile from backup, or (2) delete and then recreate the
user. If you take option (2), give the directory time to replicate
changes between the delete and recreation - usually 15 minutes is
sufficient.
