I received spam today advertising an anti-spam tool, called mailwiper.com. Mailwiper.com 8725 Roswell Rd, #104 Atlanta, Georgia 30350 The spamhouse sending the spam and running the spamvertised website is values-your-way.com.Their "privacy policy" is quite interesting. They admit that they run an opt out
system, and that if any of the customers that ask them to send spam give theman address, that they will then spam it until you opt out. They admit that they
will sell your information to other companies. They claim that laws regarding unsolicited email do not apply to them. Copies of the spam, and a few personal comments, are available at http://www.whitis.com/mailwiper.htm ------------------------------------------------------------------------- POLITECH -- Declan McCullagh's politics and technology mailing list You may redistribute this message freely if you include this notice.
