You might want to take a look at ACID (Analysis Console for Intrusion
Detection)

http://www.cert.org/kb/acid/

With some work, this can provide you with a web based interface to check
unusual traffic,  id the traffic, and manage (email, ignore, add to an Alert
Group) the alerts.
