Snort and 64-bit UltraSparc IIe

Forgive me for what may appear as a compilation dummy question, but here
goes:

I've got my hands on a few Sun Netra X1's. Very sweet little 1U box.
Default config has 128Mb-Ram, 2-10/100 NICs, and a 64-bit UltraSparc IIe
processor. All for US $995

If I compile Snort with Sun's SunPro 64-bit compiler, will Snort run as
a 64-bit or 32-bit app. Are there flags within the makefile that can
make this run at the 64-bit level?

Here's output from uname:
SunOS squirt2 5.8 Generic_108528-09 sun4u sparc SUNW,UltraAX-i2

Thanks in advance,
