missing file

Hi there,
I'm trying to build snort and the install keeps complaining that 
libpq.so.2.0 is missing. I read the faq and did exactly what it
reccomended (for a  redhat user like myself) i have 
libpcap-0.5
and libpcap-devel
both installed... are there any other things i'm missing?
