When upgrading from Snort 1.7 Win32 to Snort 1.8.1, iare there any changes necessary for Snort 1.8.1 to connect and work to mySQL (such as creating a new table in the DB) or will the same output line work in snort.conf with the same mySQL table?
The table structure has changed, you need to create a new db. I am currently trying to work a 17-1.8 mysql convert script (in perl probibly).
