"modprobe: can't locate.." related to snort?

Hello world..

snort.1.8.1-beta4 is up and running well in binary mode, pretty much 
box-stock as it comes from the current *.tar.gz

I've got psionic's logcheck running, and now suddenly it's reporting this:

It stops just like that: "...[reading from a    "

My connection is a dialup through ppp0. This seems to happen at odd 
times: when ppp0 is down; right after ppp0 comes back up; or about 5 
minutes after snort 1.8.1-beta4 is restarted.

And of course "I haven't changed anything else" -- no, really ;-)

Is this related to snort?

What does it all mean?
