Try this article: http://www.e-gineer.com/instructions/install-php4x-for-apache1xx-on-linux.ph tml I used it to install the same set up on RedHat. And I too have spent too much time on MS (I worked on NT3.5.1 when it was out). Am running Linux 7.1 and have Apache up and running, however my PHP files will not display properly in a browser, they show up as text. What am I doing wrong? Also I am clueless about Mysql configuration on the server. This is the punishment I deserve for working with Microsoft so long.
