IDS drop rate benchmark tool?

Hi, all :

   I want to know the packet drop rate of snort under various web loads. The
benchmark tool need generate any http request per seconds.
Is any tools existing?  I can't find related topic in mailing archives.  Please
give me some  advices.  Thank you :)
