   Help

   I'm in the process of installing snort on Solaris 8 x86.  I'm
experiencing problems with Libpcap...?


  1. echo $PATH
/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/opt/sfw/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/li
b:/usr/lib:/usr/ccs/bin
  
  2. cd //otp/sn*
      ./configure
      
     Everything looks good until the end...?????

    ERROR!  Libpcap library/headers not found, go get it from
   or use the --with-libpcap-* options, if you have it installed
   in unusual place
