I am finding this discussion on taps a real eye-opener - having never used
them before myself. I'm a bit confused about what's going on. Why is
everyone talking about two taps? A tap acts like a 2-port hub with one port
"broken" (i.e. read-only) - so one tap would see all traffic going to and
from the box you are monitoring wouldn't it?

What have I missed? Someone paint me a picture? ;-)
