Problem with compiling mysql-support on RedHat 7.3

I compiled mysql with

./configure --prefix=/usr/local/mysql \
--localstatedir=/var/lib/mysql


When I compile snort with

./configure --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql I
get the following message:


Starting snort: /usr/local/bin/snort: error while loading shared libraries:
libmysqlclient.so.10: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
