Mysql errors

[misc-security <misc-sec () gmx net>]

Hello list

When I configure snort 1.8.7 to log to a mysql database (mysql 3.23.49) 
after a few hours I always get the following error message:
Connection Problem! Host 'foo' is blocked because of many connection 
errors. Unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts'.
Any suggestions?
