Hey Paul,

Yeah, I've been using Hogwash for a few months. It can handle my cable connection with ease. My network is working fine (see, I can send mail). My experience with Hogwash has been nothing but great. You should give it a shot. I still believe snort-inline is still in its fetus stage. Also iirc snort-inline uses iptables to drop packets, hogwash does the dropping itself.

Hi,

Just interested to hear back from anyone who has implemented hogwash as a packet scrubber in a production environment. Did you see any noticeable improvements/problems? Did it bring your network to a halt leaving you a babbling mess in the corner?

Any response / comments welcome,

Paul
