Win2K + WinGate4.4 + Snort1.9

Dear all,

I am running Snort1.9 with WinPcap2.3 installed on Win2K SP1 machine
192.168.0.x inside the LAN with no problem. Snort.config is typical, the
only changes are "full paths for everything" for installing as a
service.   

I am sharing the Internet connection by WinGate4.4 installed on one of
the machines 192.168.0.1, equipped with the second NIC (ISDN) with
dedicated IP address. Running Snort on that machine for that NIC 
snort -c c:\snort\snort.conf -i 1 -l c:\snort\log -b
causes a problem with WinGate: client PC has timeout or interrupt of
requests.
Any advices or suggestions are highly appreciated.
