Snort 1.8.6 Win32 Build Errors

I yanked the Snort 1.8.6 tar ball (snort-1.8.6.tar.gz) from the
snort.org web site and attempted a Win32 compile using VC++ 6.0 SP5,
and I got a ton of wonderful output.  

Here are the errors:  

spp_minfrag.c
fatal error C1083: Cannot open source file:
'D:\Development\Snort\snort-1.8.6\spp_minfrag.c': No such file or
directory

spp_tcp_stream.c
fatal error C1083: Cannot open source file:
'D:\Development\Snort\snort-1.8.6\spp_tcp_stream.c': No such file or
directory

Does any one know how to clear up these errors?  

Also a majority of the common source files, when compiled, generate
the same warning messages at the same exact line number in the
included files.  The messages are:  

... \VC98\INCLUDE\math.h(174) : warning C4028: formal parameter 1
different from declaration
... \VC98\INCLUDE\io.h(175) : warning C4028: formal parameter 1
different from declaration
... \VC98\INCLUDE\io.h(176) : warning C4028: formal parameter 1
different from declaration
... \VC98\INCLUDE\io.h(176) : warning C4028: formal parameter 2
different from declaration
... \VC98\INCLUDE\io.h(181) : warning C4028: formal parameter 1
different from declaration
... \VC98\INCLUDE\io.h(244) : warning C4028: formal parameter 1
different from declaration
... \VC98\INCLUDE\process.h(145) : warning C4028: formal parameter 1
different from declaration
... \VC98\INCLUDE\process.h(174) : warning C4028: formal parameter 1
different from declaration

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions (be nice) as to what to do
w/ these warnings?
