It's funny you mentioned it.I posted a somewhat similar question to the devel list a few weeks ago. I was wondering why some of the preprocessors don't call CallLogFuncs(). I didn't get any replies to my query.
But I did make the code changes to some of preprocessors so I can get the events when I am using just the log facility.
It seems to me to be an issue for anyone using the database output plugin if only log is used.
