Snort + Acid Number of alerts

Hi All! 
I am running a snort setup with multiple sensors
controlled by
snortcenter, and posting to mysql (used by ACID) is
there a way to
reduce number of alerts like logging 1 ICMP
unreachables for every 10.

I tried swatch but as far as I know it won't work with
logs going to
mySQL.
