snort chroot sock error workarounds

hi;
     When using mysql db with snort in chroot env is there
a directive to point to where the sock is? Snort is currently 
looking a /var/run/mysql/mysql.sock which is not reachable 
by the chroot. Other than a hard link is there a directive     
that one inserts into snort.conf ?
