-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Robin, (I have CCd snort-users on this message) Which patches are you using? Are you using the patches labeled final? I have tested the patches labeled final under Solaris, Linux and OpenBSD and they work properly. The two patches people should be testing are: configure_in-libnet-HEAD-final.patch.gz (for snort 2.0) and configure_in-libnet-STABLE-final.patch.gz (for snort 1.9.1) These patches are available at http://cerberus.sourcefire.com/~jeff/tmp Please see the attached build log. - -Jeff - --On Friday, March 14, 2003 16:29:27 -0500 Robin Brown <robin_brown () totalcomm com> wrote:
Thanks, but that didn't solve my problem. It compiles ok on Solaris 8 with out the flexresp enabled and I'm certain I'm using the correct libnet, no libnet errors: checking for compress in -lz... yes ./configure: test: argument expected configure:2785: checking for compress in -lz configure:2804: gcc -o conftest -g -O2 -Wall -DBSD_COMP -I/usr/local/mysql//include/mysql -DENABLE_MYSQL -L/usr/local/mysql//lib/mysql conftest.c -lz -lpcap -lm -lsocket -lnsl 1>&5 Thanks anyway, Robin -----Original Message----- From: Jeff Nathan [mailto:jeff () snort org] Sent: Friday, March 14, 2003 3:47 PM To: Robin Brown Subject: Re: flexresp patches -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Robin, They're attached to this email.
