Database problems with ACID!

["SNORT" <snort () cracker dk>]

Hello,

I have the following setup:

One labtop with Linux, Apache and ACID.

One Server with OpenBSD 3.2 with mysql and SNORT.

It all seems to work fine..BUT there some problems. The sections: Source IP addresses, Dest. IP addresses and Unique IP 
links in ACID.
When i click on those, i get:

Database ERROR:Database ERROR:Access denied for user: 'root () xxx xxx xxx xxx' to database 'snort'

How come that all works but this? In mysql i have done the: mysql>grant INSERT,SELECT,CREATE,DELETE on snort.* to root 
() xxx xxx xxx xxx identified by "password";   so I dont know where the problem is!?

Anybody had the same problem?
