Realtime alerts

Hi Guys,

I'm using snort2.0 , I want Snort to alert me in real
time for any intrusions.
Like popping up a message box on my screen. I'm using
redhat8.

I've heared of samba alerts, How do we do it?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
