new features of snort 2.0

In order to benefit from the new features of snort 2.0. I recompiled myself the source of the 2.0 version but I still 
receive error messages regarding the byte_test and byte_jump functions. I'm not a linux guru and don't know what to do. 

I use the following procedure to make my executable :
./configure --enable-smbalerts
make
make install
