reg: snort.conf

Hello all,

I've compiled and installed Snort in HP-UX.

Snort version = 2.0.1

prefix path = /opt/snort

under that i'm able to find only bin/snort and man/...

Not able to locate etc/snort.conf.

But it is in <src>/etc/

snort.conf file refers "rules" dir.

My Q! is there any bug in snort that won't create etc/snort.conf and rules
dir under installation path or
do we need to move manually to the installation path?

and no need to use snort.conf file(all available in cmd line options of
snort)?

Plz reply me asap.
