Evening all, Barnyard 0.1.0, RedHat 8.0, Snort 2.0.1.All works great together, however i've noticed when the IDS sensor (running Barnyard) is not able to talk to the IDS console (database) that Barnyard dies after a short while.
Seems to die gracefully, with a 'FATAL ERROR' line in the logs about not being able to talk to the DB.
I've been through the FAQ documents, and other documents in the docs directory and didn't see anything about how Barnyard is (or will be) designed to handle situations of prolonged database outage.
Just curious.
