Portscan Traffic

Im using ACID but the Portscan Traffic shows 0%.
i made some nmap scanning from the outside, but nothing is showing.

i read tha acid faq in some place is says that i have to edit the snort.conf 
line "output database: alert, mysql, user=snort, dbname=snort_log 
host=localhost password=foo". so i did it. but nothing happend.

any ideas ?
