Real time output plugins

Hi Snorters,

The problem I'm facing is that I have a lot of other
work and am not able to check my IDS logs thru ACID
very frequently.

Is there any mechanism like SMS or pop-ups or sound
alarms which immediately respond to me incase of
serious or high risk alerts.

How can I make snort to email me alerts?

What other output mechanisms are available?
