OK, Now if you would have followed my guide using the included files you may not have had all these problems :) But maybe you would have, the important thing is that it is working. NOTICE: WFZ has installed an ALPHA version of WinPcap. Do NOT run over to their site and install this! It is and should be treated as ALPHA and NOT for a production environment! Hello Mike/everybody. In my previous post I was wrong, please disregard what I´ve said about downgrading to snort 2.0.0. The problem I had was the old WinPcap version I was using. I replaced it all for WinPcap 3.01a and Snort 2.0.5 and it worked OK. Sorry for any inconvenience. I´ve ran into the same problem while trying to use a secondary sensor (a W2K one)to log to a remote MySQL database:database: Problem obtaining SENSOR ID (sid) from snort->sensor<snip!> __________________________________________________ Todavía no tenés tu Ciudad Internet Mail?
