RE: OT: Spam Mail on List?

Yes, it is the web archives that are not sanitizing personal emails which
the email harvestors love.  My conspiring thought for the day is that the
web archivers are actually Spammers (or very sympathetic to their needs).

Which brings me to another point.  Since these lists are PUBLIC, I love
reading the idiotic disclaimers at the end of everyones email.  You realize
your employer could hold you accountable for public disclosure of your posts
on to the web??  (Example, 'hi today we are seeing all kinds of attacks on
our network', hacker reads this on neohapsis for example, and starts adding
to the attack, or confirms his attack is working...)

Try using a throw away account, and eliminate stupid corporate disclaimers,
as well protect yourself against spam.  (I could get into a tirade about
posting messages like my example above, but like this one, it will be
greatly ignored I'm sure)

Maybe I should package this and sell it, any takers?
