I'm using iptraf.
Enable the eth1 interface in promiscuous mode, something like: ifconfig eth1 up -arp.
Then launch iptraf, select 'Detailed interface statistics' and select again eth1.

I build a passive ethernet tap as specified on snort.org.  When I tried to
test it out I could not get any link light and therefore could not recieve
any of the data.  If anybody has any suggestion could you please e-mail
and help me out a little.
