error start snort

Hi! 
I am new to snort world and would like to use snort asap. I download snort 2.10 and winpcap 3.1 and installed onto a 
windows2000 pc. Then, I tried to test snort with c:\snort -v and I got an error. " The procedure entry point 
PacketGetNetInfo could not be located in the dynamic link library packek.dll "

Any idea.....thanks for reply
