not quite like EagleX, but Patrick Harper frickin' rocks, great contributions:

http://www.internetsecurityguru.com/

check out the doc "Snort, Apache, SSL, PHP, MySQL and Acid
Install on Fedora Core 1 – From RPM"

In his words, the doc "is pretty basic and is for the Linux
newbie, as well the Snort newbie. This is not an ultra-secure end-all to Snort IDS deployment guide; this is a “How in the hell do I get this installed and working” guide. This document will walk you through installing a stand-alone RedHat/Fedora system
(this is not for a dual boot system). Also, PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS DOC.

Subject: [Snort-users] Eagle X Like Instillation for Linux
Date: Fri, 4 Jun 2004 20:04:08 -0700

Hello:

I am interested in building an IDS with Snort, Apache, Mysql, and Acid for
Linux. But I am wondering does anyone know of an Eagle X like install of
these packages for Linux? If so would someone please point me to this
information.

Thanks in advance for your time:

Steve
