Using ACID for SNMP and SYSLOG messages?

Would it be possible to have ACID somehow read SNMP and SYSLOG messages and
use ACID as my central monitoring console?  Any ideas?  I just love the
functionality of ACID and the way its search engine works is great...if
there are any other products like this, let me know.  Thanks
