Hi all - I'm trying to get stunnel working for a remote snort sensor to send
data into the local database. This will be for systems running Linux.

I've read the FAQ, done searches in the Snort archives, and read a number of
guides on both stunnel.org and snort.org, and I'm getting closer, but can't
quite get it working.

Since I figure that I can't be the only person in such a position, I've
already started writing up a screen-shot, step-by-step guide based on one
tutorial that I found on the net. But until it's good enough that my
teenagers could follow it (and it works - what a concept!) it's not going
anywhere.

Any help I could get in making this work, will result in my producing a
step-by-step guide (in PDF format) available to all, with credit given
appropriately.

Please email back if you're interested in helping me with this.

Thanks,

I worked a little bit with snort and stunnel, but on freebsd. The
biggest problem I ran into was the tcpwrappers. What sort of problems
are you running into?
