Have you read the docs that come with it?  The readme's explain it
pretty good.  What errors are you having when you try it?  Have you
tried it? 

Also, why did you send your original to me and the guy in India who is
broke?  If you mail it to the snort-users list it gets to the entire
community.  Just wondering...  thanks

i have my snort installed and running great with mysql.
i am yet unable to determine the procedure to use oinkmaster to update
signatures on snort.conf.could somebody explain me briefly the steps i
