Hi I am trying to run snort on a Windows XP SP2 machine using the following command: snort -E -c c:\snort\etc\snort.conf I am get the following error message: Can not get write access to logging directory "log". (dorectory doesn't exist or permissions are set incorrectly or it is not a directory at all) Does anyone know why this is happening...am I doing something wrong or do I need to change a setting. Thanks, A D Farrell ADRIAN FARRELL PC & Network Support Greater Taree City Council PH: 02 6592 5210 Adrian.Farrell () gtcc nsw gov au This e-mail has been scanned for viruses by MCI's Internet Managed Scanning Services - powered by MessageLabs.
